As President of Indermuehle & Co., Mr. Motes is responsible for the strategic vision, planning and implementation of the firm’s key objectives. In addition to this role, Mr. Motes manages his client relationships in the Houston, Texas market where he has been active for over nine years.
Mr. Motes joined Indermuehle & Co. in 2000 and is experienced in all service disciplines, but focuses primarily on industrial assets representing tenants, owners and investors. He started his career in commercial real estate brokerage in Houston, Texas in 1999 and has worked with many well known local, regional and national companies handling industrial properties and investment real estate.
Over the past nine years Mr. Motes has closed over $140 million in commercial lease and sale client transactions. These transactions span over 2 million square feet of single tenant, multi-tenant, and free standing improved properties. Lang has also closed over 725 acres of mixed-use, commercial land sites in the Houston, Texas area.
Prior to entering commercial brokerage, Mr. Motes was in the mortgage financing business with Moody National Mortgage Corporation and underwrote over $200 million in commercial real estate acquisitions. Mr. Motes’ experience gives his clients a unique viewpoint on commercial assets from initial investment to exit strategy.
Mr. Motes holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Citadel Military College of South Carolina and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) candidate.
