TRANSFORMING MONTGOMERY COUNTY: NEW CANEY'S MOMENTUM
The real estate market is no stranger to volatility, but time and again, Houston and its surrounding cities prove their resilience. New Caney, Texas stands as a shining example of that strength, having experienced exponential growth over the past two years.
This surge has prompted Montgomery County Commissioner, Matt Gray, to take bold steps, enhancing policies and procedures for developers, investing in road and drainage improvements, and tightening floodplain management, all to support sustainable, long-term growth.
Population expansion has been undeniable, with 142 plats recorded in just two years across communities such as Roman Forest, Artavia, and Tavola. And at the heart of it all is Valley Ranch Town Center, northeast Houston’s premier destination for shopping, dining, entertainment, and multifamily living.
The momentum continues: the East Montgomery County Convention Center & Hotel, an expanded sports complex, and Hope Media Group are all on the horizon. South of the Grand Parkway, Valley Ranch is gearing up for even more with the Valley Ranch Commercial District and the Valley Ranch Crossing Wellness District, cementing its place as a hub for commerce, lifestyle, and community. With unmatched momentum and visionary planning, New Caney is quickly establishing itself as the place to live, work, and invest.

BATTLE OF THE MENTORS: BUILDING SKILLS, TEAMWORK, AND CONNECTIONS
This year marked our third Battle of the Mentors, and it was another exciting round of learning, connection, and (mostly) friendly competition. Team members were paired together for a three month mentoring program to foster one-on-one collaboration and shared growth.
Over the course of the mentoring sessions, participants exchanged ideas, watched mentoring videos, shared experiences, and strengthened professional skills. When the sessions wrapped up, the real fun began. All teams came together for a head-to-head showdown featuring games and trivia based on the mentoring topics. Laughter, quick thinking, and a bit of friendly rivalry filled the room as everyone put their knowledge to the test.
Congratulations to this year’s Battle of the Mentors winners, Jane Nodskov and Costa Bajjali!
